The set of three books contains full transcriptions of all ten exquisite pieces from Riqueni's 1995 album. The pieces on this record incorporate a broad range of musical influences, which Riqueni masterfully assimilates into his own unequivocally Flamenco guitar idiom. Some of the pieces have fully transcribed second and third guitar parts, giving you the option of playing these pieces and falsetas solo or in a two or three guitar setting. The rhythmic pieces even spell out patterns for accompanying palmas and footwork. The musical and technical advice that complements each piece turn the set into a sort of method for the contemporary Flamenco guitar. Extras include an analysis of Flamenco forms, scales, chords, rasgueados, notation.... Even a bit of history and a glossary. Transcribed by Enrique Vargas, each book is about 200 pages, with ell text in Spanish and English, and all music in notation and TAB.
