Clara Montes' third recording is devoted to the songs of Rafael de Leon. Perhaps the 20th Century's greatest composer of Cancion Espa–ola, Leon was also a poet, member of the Generation of 1927, and close friend of Lorca, Machado, Alberti.... Montes' selection includes several of de Leon's most memorable songs, and a couple that have never before been recorded. Her trademark style of Cancion Aflamencada sounds better than ever with the collaboration of Pepe Habichuela, Josemi and Juan Carmona, El Camborio, El Paquete, Ara Malikian....
